While many Americans are still in fall mode as we prep for Thanksgiving, the Brits are living in a Christmassy future—or perhaps Christmas past?

On November 20 the Prince and Princess of Wales released a photo of Kate Middleton decorating a Christmas tree in honor of her upcoming Together at Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey, which will take place on December 8. In the photo the mother of three smiles for the camera in a beautiful cream Fair Isle turtleneck sweater, which she has already been seen wearing multiple times last winter.

However, this Holland Cooper sweater may not actually be back in Middleton’s rotation. It seems the photo was originally taken to promote last year’s carol service. In a promotional video shared on December 14, 2022, the princess can be seen decorating a very familiar tree in the same cozy knitwear, which also features elegant gold buttons on the sleeves. “Final touches ahead of the #TogetherAtChristmas Carol Service tomorrow,” the official @KensingtonRoyal account posted at the time.
