Inditex, the Spanish company, has announced that it will no longer use the ‘Join Life’ sustainability label for its garments.
According to the company’s annual report, they have reached a point in their strategy where they no longer need to differentiate their products with this label.
The ‘Join Life’ label was introduced in 2015 to raise awareness about using more environmentally friendly raw materials and processes.
Over the years, the number of ‘Join Life’ items in Inditex’s collections has been steadily increasing.
In 2022, 61% of the products carried the sustainability label.
However, the label has now disappeared from all of the group’s retail chains, as reported by Fashion United España.
Inditex remains committed to sustainability and will continue to use stringent product sustainability criteria and targets in their collections..
