If there’s one thing Zendaya is going to do, it’s pull a look. Hot off the heals of an incredible gown moment at a pre-Oscars 2022 party, she showed up at the actual awards ceremony in yet another show-stopping look.
This time, the Dune star broke with convention and wore a silk button-down shirt, cropped short to right under her bust. She paired the casual top with a gorgeous silver sequined skirt with a major train. Both were custom Valentino Haute Couture, as were her shoes. Stacks and stacks of Bulgari diamond serpent bracelets climbed her arms, and a matching necklace and diamond studs finished off the look.
As for beauty, Zendaya’s trademark glowing skin was present, and she had a dash of silver shadow accentuating her eyes to match her skirt. Her curls were swept off her face in a classic updo.
“For Zendaya’s Oscar’s look, we decided to go with this soft up sweep because we felt it’s very glamorous and Hollywood-esque,” says her hairstylist Antoinette Hill, who used Hidden Crown, JOICO and TRESemmé products, and T3 tools for the look. “It also accentuates Zendaya’s beautiful features.”
Zendaya has been wearing a string of iconic looks lately, one of our favorites being an effortless black shirt dress on a date with boyfriend Tom Holland. In an interview with in November 2021, Holland opened up about his decision to keep his relationship with Zendaya private. “One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world,” he said.
Earlier this month reports surfaced that Zendaya and Tom Holland had moved in together. According to the the couple found a six-bedroom home about four miles from his hometown in the U.K. “They are over the moon about the property and getting their first home together,” a source said. “They are very much in love and wanted their first home to be in London, where Tom grew up. Everyone is thrilled for them.”
