The Portland, Oregon-based company said Craig Zanon, senior vice president, emerging brands, will lead Sorel as it searches for a replacement.

Joining the company in 2007 to lead footwear, Nenmow has been credited as transforming the Sorel brand from primarily a men’s winter work boot to a fashion-forward, all season women’s led brand.

He became president of the Sorel brand in 2015 and focused his attention on growth through a drive towards function-led style applied to boots, sandals, sneakers and more. Sorel has consistently seen growth year over year, “establishing itself as the second largest of our family of brands,” said the brand in a press release.

“Mark led the brand to sales of $347 million in net sales in 2022,” said Tim Boyle

In its most recent trading update in late April, parent company Columbia Sportswear said net sales increased 8 percent to $820.6 million for the third quarter, on the back of double-digit growth in the company’s international markets.
