Pamela Anderson in crisp winter white, combining sun hats and opera gloves, fringe and sheer, tights and sandals. It’s snow on the beach…weird but beautiful.
Attending the Jacquemus show in Le Bourget, France, on Monday, December 12, the and soon to be memoirist wore a sheer, toga-like wraparound white gown with a thigh-high slit and raffia fringe around the hips, accessorized with a singular matching elbow-length glove. She topped off the look with a wide-brim raffia hat and wore white open-toed sandals in defiance of the season.
It’s a look totally appropriate and specific to the event she was attending, where she sat with drag queen Simone, reality star Christine Quinn, and nepo baby model Iris Law. Ideal blunt rotation.
Buuuuut the look is also reminiscent of one of the animal advocate’s most iconic ’90s ensembles: the giant pink fluffy hat she wore to the 1999 VMAs.
That accessory was from NYC-based designer Ivy Supersonic, and Anderson wore it with a corset, sparkly pants, and the era-defining blue eye shadow.
If that hat looks familiar for another reason, it might be because Megan Fox, an avowed Fanderson (made that up but sticking with it), wore a similar style in tribute just a week ago.
Not that she was ever truly out of the spotlight, but Pamela Anderson has been in comeback mode lately, getting ready to drop her first memoir and a Netflix documentary in which she tells her story, her way. The day after appearing at the Jacquemus show, she took to Instagram to announce the title of the upcoming film: Pamela, A Love Story. (Her book is called Love, Pamela, so expect a tie-in marketing campaign.)

Also on Instagram, Netflix announced the drop date for the project: January 31. So close! In the comments, her two sons cheered her on, with Brandon Lee writing, “Yes!!!!” and Dylan Lee adding, “Yesss! 🤍” Such positive dudes.
