Nicole Kidman has never stopped embracing a teen goth-girl aesthetic and I think that’s beautiful. Not that most teen goth girls wear Coperni, which is what Kidman was rocking here, at the Country Music Awards, on November 8.
Kidman’s sleek black dress featured a little hardware detail in the front and some extreme abs-baring cutouts, giving the whole look an appropriately rock-and-roll feel. She styled the slinky column dress with a collar necklace, center-parted hair, and heavy black eyeliner.
For finishing touches, the Academy Award winner added a bangle bracelet, a slouchy black bag, black Jimmy Choos, and a knowing smirk. An A-plus look from top to bottom.
Nicole Kidman was, of course, at the CMAs to support her country music star husband, Keith Urban, who was one of the night’s presenters. Urban also wore black, pairing a distressed button-down shirt with slouchy pants and absolutely enormous chunky boots, which look at least as punk-inspired as Kidman’s peekaboo gown. He even coordinated with his wife’s silver jewels by adding a few silver accessories of his own.
