UK Whales: Scores of Dead Sea Creatures Wash Up as Scientists Investigate

**Dozens of whales and dolphins have washed up dead on UK shores in recent weeks, sparking concern among scientists.**

The latest incident saw 14 common dolphins and two harbor porpoises found dead on the Norfolk coast on Saturday.

This follows the deaths of 24 sperm whales in the North Sea in January and 10 common dolphins in Cornwall in February.

Scientists are investigating the cause of the deaths, but so far have not been able to determine a clear reason.

One theory is that the animals are being killed by underwater noise pollution from ships and other human activities.

Another possibility is that they are becoming disoriented and dying after getting caught in fishing nets or other underwater obstacles.

The deaths of so many marine mammals in such a short space of time is a major concern for conservationists.
