Swedish sock brand Happy Socks has appointed Alexander Meyer as its new CEO, effective immediately. Meyer will succeed Mikael Söderlindh, who will remain with the company as a strategic advisor.
Meyer has over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, having held leadership positions at companies including H&M, COS, and Lindex. Most recently, he was the CEO of the Danish fashion brand Ganni.
Under Meyer’s leadership, Happy Socks aims to accelerate its global expansion and strengthen its position as a leading sock brand. The company plans to open new stores in key markets, such as the United States and China, and expand its product offering to include new categories, such as underwear and loungewear.
