Victoria’s Secret to open new store in Delhi, plans large scale India expansion
Victoria’s Secret plans to open a new store in New Delhi’s Ambience Mall in Vasant Kunj before the end of the year. The US-based lingerie and lifestyle brand plans to continue to expand across India.
The brand has teased the new launch by opening a pop-up shop in the mall. Following a strong response, the brand is gearing up to open its second store in India which will retail its Victoria’s Secret Beauty, Victoria’s Secret Lingerie, and Pink
“VS is a very iconic brand, there is no other brand in lingerie space that has a following similar to Victoria’s Secret,” said a spokesperson for the brand, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “So, we are very excited for the launch and hope it goes as per our plan.”
The brand opened its first store in India in Mumbai’s Phoenix Palladium
“The opportunities into every major city in India is great, and we aim to be present in every major city gradually,” said the brand’s spokesperson. “We aim to give the best experience to our customers being present in the best of the malls.”
