The sartorial Italian house has been named Official Tailor of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, granting Cifonelli global exposure via the world’s most legendary high-performance car endurance race.

Cifonelli will debut on the starting line of 24 Hours of Le Mans, which runs June 11 to 12, 2022, and is held in the Circuit de la Sarthe.

This exclusive three-year partnership will cover the 2022, 2023 and 2024 editions of the race, which will celebrate its centenary next year.

In their photo shoot celebrating the new linkup, the dashing, well-weathered model Nicolas Souchier posed in front of a Jaguar XK 120.

“As car enthusiasts, my cousin and I immediately joined this collaborative project. We share values of excellence, indeed in our job as on the track, precision and detail are the watchwords of the pilot and the tailor. By offering a capsule collection in line with the universe of the mythical race of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, we have tried to modestly bring a touch of elegance to the locker rooms of the greatest drivers or more broadly of all the amateurs of this exceptional universe,” said Massimo Cifonelli.

The elegant menswear line from the Italian house is noted for  combining values passed down from generation to generation since 1880. The 24 Hours of Le Mans is equally venerable. It’s drivers have been clocked exceeding 400 kilometers per hour;  each team must race over 3,000 miles in a single day; making it the world’s meanest endurance car race, dating back to 1923.

“The 24 Hours of Le Mans has always been a test of great tradition and this partnership with Cifonelli was therefore a natural one. We are very happy to count this prestigious brand among our partners, in this exciting period of endurance and this new golden age. See you on the starting grid on June 11 to honor our two entities,” added Stéphane Andriolo, Customers and Events Director of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, which hosts the race.
