Rihanna’s latest Savage x Fenty drop makes so much sense that I’m actually a little embarrassed to say I didn’t see it coming: On August 8, the billionaire recording artist introduced a line of maternity lingerie, sharing the news with a sweet photo shoot posted to Instagram in which she breastfeeds her one-year-old son, RZA.
Rihanna, who is currently pregnant with baby number two, also debuted some blunt, choppy bangs for the campaign. In the photos she wears a black breastfeeding bra, gold rings, and minimal makeup. Baby RZA wore black and gray shorts with, naturally, a Savage x Fenty logo print. The shoot was posted on the official Savage x Fenty Instagram account, and the comments from moms and moms-to-be prove the new line is bound to be a hit.
“I’m so glad I’m waiting to have children,” wrote one follower. “By the time I’m pregnant Rihanna will have made all the accessories for me and my baby to be dope as hell.”
The Savage x Fenty account captioned the pics, “Not ur mama’s maternity bras…designed by @badgalriri, approved by baby RZA #SavageXMaternity.”

Lingerie has been a consistent theme throughout Rihanna’s second pregnancy. Last month she modeled sheer intimates from Savage x Fenty—a red bra and a matching thong. Back in May she wore a Savage x Fenty mesh dress that was a nod to her sheer Dior dress from 2022. Earlier in her pregnancy she modeled Savage x Fenty’s limited edition Flocked Logo Bundle, which includes her Flocked Logo Bralette and Savage x Boxers briefs, with sky-high Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Rihanna shares her son RZA Athelston Mayers with A$AP Rocky, who may or may not be her husband. During a performance at the 2023 Cannes Lions Festival in June, he gave Rihanna, who was in the audience, a shout-out. “I’d like to dedicate this song to my beautiful wife in the mother-fucking building,” he said, per Page Six. In July, Rocky added fuel to the rumor fire with the release of a new song, “Riot,” which contained the lyrics “My wife is erotic, I’m smokin’ exotic (Woo, woo) / My whip is exotic, my crib is a cottage (Woo, woo, woo).”
