She’s here! By which I mean both the season of fall and Fall Taylor Swift.
Swift has officially entered her Autumn in New York era, wearing a simple black slip dress, boots, and a rather professorial tweed fall coat. The minimalist silhouettes of the coat and the dress, the high-heel Louboutins, the black handle bag, as well as Swift’s signature cat-eye-red-lip-curtain-bangs glam, all lent the look a certain ’60s mod vibe, which I personally dig.
Once again, the singer-songwriter was photographed going out to dinner alongside a slew of her A-lister friends. Greta Gerwig, Zoë Kravitz, and Laura Dern were reportedly among those who joined Swift at Italian restaurant Il Buco in New York City on September 18. This would be at least the third downtown Italian joint Swift and her crew of celebrity besties have patronized in the past few months. Back in April she and friends Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley were spotted at Via Carota in the West Village. Just a week ago she and Blake Lively (among others) visited Emilio’s Ballato in Soho.
In addition to trendy Italian food, Taylor Swift also seems to have developed a new appreciation for black ’fits like this one. She wore black for a night out at Zero Bond with Lively, for instance, as well as a head-to-toe black ensemble for a recent recording session.
It’s a whole new era.
